Courtney grew up in the suburbs of Chicago until heading off to Ohio for college. At Miami University, she majored in the history of art and architecture, focusing on studio art and the history of design. After spending a year back in Chicago after graduation, the west coast was calling her name and she moved to Los Angeles. There she started working for a boutique letterpress stationery company, where she learned the ins and outs of the printing and design world and immediately fell in love with all of it. During her time there, she oversaw the finishing of designs and any digital printing they did. She covered everything from bow tying and envelope lining to photo printing and album construction. In addition, she managed all the dealers they worked with for both custom and wholesale accounts.

In 2010, Courtney found out that a move to Tampa was in the future and there could not have been a more perfect job opening than the one she found at Invitation Consultants. She came aboard as a Graphic Designer where she began designing invitations and prepping them for the website. When the company began in house digital printing, she started as a designer liaison to the production department which grew into the Production Manager position that she now holds. Now in addition to her design tasks, she works closely with the Production Department to make sure they have the training and tools they need on a daily basis.

Courtney is so grateful to have found a place in the invitation world after her move to Florida and loves learning something new about it every day.
