Planning a Prom Party
Prom is sure to be the most special night of any teenager’s life and so you want to have a prom party to mark the occasion. Planning a prom party can cover a lot of different angles as it could be ahead of time with parents or afterwards for everyone to sleep over. Either way be sure that you get prom invitations that help you to mark the occasion and prepare all invited guests appropriately.
No matter what you need some good food for guests to eat on the go. If they are getting pictures taken or if it’s later on in the evening when they want to settle in, they are going to want to eat simple things like chips and dip, chips and salsa, and maybe some little sandwiches. Be careful that no alcohol is served as this can be a liability, but do have some fun drinks like kiddie cocktails or even sparkling grape juice. Being responsible is what has to go into planning a prom party as it will matter tremendously to parents involved.
Set up an area for photos to be taken before hand, and this can double up as a nice area for kids to relax before and after. Have some simple music playing that guests can relax and enjoy as this is a fun night that can take a lot out of you. Even consider having some relaxing activities like movies or games that guests can enjoy. With all of the excitement and anticipation of prom, a well planned prom party can really help to cap off a special evening just right.
