A Tea Party Birthday Is the Way to Go

Birthday parties are often the most anticipated part of a child’s year. Kids love to have their friends over or go out to a new place for a day of fun and delicious food. Girls are especially fond of their special day and many of them, young and old, will never get tired of a great tea party. Throwing a tea party in celebration of a birthday is a great idea.

Many young girls love to sit and play in their rooms for hours on end with their stuffed animal friends and have little tea parties. What better way to make her feel loved and honored than to have a real tea party with her real friends? Make invitations in the shape of a teapot. Set out a table on the lawn with all kinds of delicious finger foods. Then, watch the girls enjoy a great time of laughing, eating, and playing.

Older ladies, believe it or not, may also really enjoy a tea party birthday. However, instead of hosting it at home on the lawn, see if there are any fancy places in town that offer a high tea. High tea is a lovely experience, including many different flavors of tea for drinking, all kinds of biscuits and cheeses and fruits served to the guests, and usually even dessert. The birthday girl and her friends will feel pampered and appreciated with a much-needed day off for some quality friend time.
