Considerations for a Fall Wedding
Many couples love the prospect of a fall wedding. However, sometimes they do not know how to go about orchestrating all of the details to fit this theme. Before getting started with all the big things, here a couple simple considerations to narrow down that to do list in preparation for the perfect fall wedding.
Colors
Probably one of the most outstanding aspects of fall is the vast array of gorgeous colors that can be found during this season. Most people who enjoy the autumn really love the colorful, changing trees. Incorporating this into a wedding sounds a bit tricky, but with the right use of certain colors, the wedding will scream, “fall.”
Try picking the top three colors of the season that would fit the ceremony best, for example, yellow, dark brown, and red. These colors not only complement each other but will definitely pull the theme together nicely as well. They can be worked into all different areas of the ceremony, even the invitations. Sunflowers and roses would make a beautiful combination of flowers and flow nicely with the color scheme. Tying in other small colorful details will make the fall feeling really come to life.
Venue
A second thing to consider is the venue. Couples who opt for a fall wedding are most often thinking of an outdoor wedding, mainly because of the surrounding trees and natural setting. This can become tricky, though, depending on the specific location. Some places have very unpredictable weather, making it difficult to plan any kind of outdoor event without great risk that it might be overrun with rain and wind.
If an indoor wedding is out of the question, make sure the outdoor venue at least has some kind of canopy or shelter nearby in case of an unexpected storm. Either way, with the proper decorations, colors, and surroundings, any wedding can work beautifully with a fall theme.
