The Picture Perfect Wedding Invitations
A wedding is a big ordeal. There are all kinds of details to work out, from the dress and flowers to the food and venue. The invitations, however, are probably one of the most important parts. After all, without them, no one would come. While some couples opt for a simple announcement without any embellishments or pictures, others like to add a personal touch with a few photos included. This can be a tricky thing to do, however, so make sure to follow these tips.
1. If your invitation calls for a large picture, make sure you have a good quality picture. By that we mean that that your photo should be a high-resolution photo. As a rule of thumb, anything taken with a phone will not work.
2. Some invitations allow for multiple photos, make sure they all flow together. Ideally, they were all taken during the same photo shoot. Or in the same setting. This will ensure a cohesive look for your invitations.
3. Stick to black and white photos, unless the colors in the image coordinate with the invitation. When pictures that have a bunch of bright or contrasting colors are added to an announcement that is supposed to look classy, it makes things very unsightly. Black and white keeps everything flowing nicely and makes sure the invitations fit the overall theme of the wedding. The other alternative is to opt for sepia tone. If you don’t have a black and white version or a sepia tone, our designers will gladly take care of that for you.
It is easy to get overwhelmed when trying to create the picture-perfect wedding invitation. However, with the tips above, anyone can make that special announcement look just right.
