The Story of Santa Clause and His Place of Significance and History for Kids of All Ages
When you were a kid you probably never really gave much thought to Santa Clause or his significance or history. This is one of those stories, those myths, those traditions that you just came to accept as a child. There is so much magic to what Santa is all about and when you get to see a child’s reaction on Christmas morning it captures the spirit of what this season and the tradition of Santa Clause is all about. There is a great story to it though and understanding this can be half the fun.
For this is the story of Saint Nicholas as he became known, the man who delivered toys with the long white beard, and who did so simply out of the goodness of his own heart. He looked like the character that we have come to accept as Santa, and his beautiful measures to give kids gifts who would not normally have them makes sense as it helps to create the tradition that we celebrate as Santa. Over time the story has evolved and so this tradition is an absolute must around this wonderful holiday each year.
As we reflect on the story of Santa Clause, his tradition and significance, we should also think about the history that helped him to develop. We all have that sort of goodness within us and it’s important to recognize that. This all came about due to one man who went on to become a saint and it helps to remind us what the season of giving is all about. Reflect upon this and tell your kids as they get older, but for now just enjoy the magic and wonder that Santa Clause brings to your kids and your entire family.
