When you think about what makes up “a traditional wedding” more than likely it’s all about the things that we dreamt about when we were young. This is usually centered around a fairy book tale where the bride and groom lived happily ever after. So tie into that and think through all of the details to make your day extra special. Usually “a traditional wedding” takes place in a location that is a hometown to one or both of the people in the bridal couple. It is often held at a church and then the hall is a separate and very special location that accommodates all of the guests. Then it’s all about the flowers, the bridal gowns, the colors, the cake, the photographer, the favors, and all of the other bells and whistles in between. There is no limit to the special touches that you can incorporate, just center around the traditional.
Be sure that if you are going for “a traditional wedding” that you keep with certain tried and true classic ideas. The bride and groom can’t see each other before they walk down the aisle, there should be a big bridal party, a garter and bouquet to toss, and the bride and groom leave the reception for their honeymoon. You may even want to consider mixing in some traditional elements and some more unique ideas to make this an affair to remember for all involved.
